The article reviews the current situation, identifying more crimes against officials of the Interior bodies. The statistical analysis makes us especially wary against the background of high latency of such crimes. A surge in the number of defended persons and criminal acts against them testifies to the necessity in optimized organizational & legal fundamentals of operative & investigation support for state protection to the Interior officials, calling for urgent solution of the problem through more efficient measures, providing state protection to the Interior officials. The author analyses the Russian and foreign experience in fighting such crimes. Review of operative & investigation support, providing state protection to the Interior officials, foreign legislations facilitates incorporation of positive experience into the Russian Law. The article outlines positive trends in this sphere, based on the European Union and the USA, emphasizing a number of problems as well as the ways of their solution, extrapolating positive experience of foreign countries.
