Nowadays the Internet has become a means of achieving different criminal objectives. Social networking service makes it easier to maintain anonymity, create fake accounts and search specific groups of users who meet certain standards. Children and teenagers involved in abusive sexual acts are mostly to be at risk. The article focuses on the peculiarities of interrogating individuals suspected of committing offences against sexual inviolability of juveniles via the Internet. The authors point out the investigation of such offences is unique due to the victim's identity and perpetrators’ motives. In addition, if the specifics of interrogating victims of these crimes was previously taken into account, the peculiarities of interrogating suspects are being considered for the first time. In the article, there is an illustrative list of questions to the suspect, taking into consideration that the objects of investigation are mainly electronic traces, which are of no identification value as a rule. Organizational activities are listed for the investigator to perform before interrogating the suspect. The authors make the points to justify their position to involve an expert in criminal psychology to interrogate the suspect, and conclude that effective investigation of offences against sexual inviolability of juveniles committed via the Internet, is possible only by using professional experience from various branches of science.
