The article focuses on the interaction of investigative, operational and forensic units as a factor in ensuring the effectiveness of detection and investigation of crimes, as well as the shortcomings of the existing forms of interaction that need to be improved. Interaction at the present stage acquired the meaning of one of the fundamental ideas of organizing the fight against crime and essentially become an essential element of organization and management in this area. Interaction can be achieved provided if operatives, forensic experts and investigators will develop clear internal psychological conviction that together they are responsible not only for professional performance in their line, but also, most importantly, for the final result - the disclosure of each offense to whatever tricks nor resorted offender and no matter how difficult, and sometimes lengthy process proved nor expose the perpetrators.
